Janice Bartley is a university qualified Medical Herbalist with a passion for health and happiness. She fosters an evidence-based integrative approach to healthcare and believes that “perfect health” – while different for each individual – is achievable by all.
Integrative healthcare is both a science and a philosophy that focuses on the complexities of each individual’s health and proposes an array of complimentary therapies to accompany conventional medical care. Integrative therapies are complimentary, they make use of treatment modalities that are non-surgical and non-pharmacological but that have known safety and efficacy.
By contrast, “alternative therapies” are typically promoted as a substitute for mainstream medical care. Alternative therapies typically lack scientific substantiation with very few being the subject of clinical trials. Janice does NOT offer alternative therapies; she also does NOT prescribe homeopathic remedies, use iridology or practice any form of “energy medicine”.
